The base is made from Rammed Earth, sourced in and around Brussels. It’s been rammed manually in several layers, showing the typical earth texture. The top is smoothly polished till an earth terrazzo becomes visible, highlighting the interior of the rammed earth.
This earth cylinder rests on a solid steel support, and is topped with high quality brass details. The lampshade is made from NotWeed paper, sourced from invasive knotweed plant.
The bottom steel plate and electrical parts are assembled at Micro Factory.
Designed and produced in Brussels.
This first production run is based on pre-orders to avoid over-production.
